Product Information
Nothing hits harder, lasts longer—or gives you a bigger jump on next year’s pre-seed burndown in your cereal crops. PrePass™ in the fall gives you flexibility to better manage your time, resources and the unpredictability of spring weather. Why wait until spring when you can get the peace of mind you need this fall.
PrePass in fall saves time next spring.
The primary goal of a fall PrePass application is to control winter annuals and prevent them from over-wintering. This conserves valuable nutrients, and reduces weed size the following spring. PrePass provides extended control thereby managing multiple weed flushes after harvest. So along with effective weed control, fall applied PrePass gives you peace of mind because your pre-seed burndown is complete.
PrePass controls winter annual weeds into next year.
Volunteer canola and winter annual broadleaf weed populations of cleavers, flixweed, stinkweed, narrow-leaved hawk’s-beard, shepherd’s-purse, and perennial weeds such as dandelion are becoming more problematic
PrePass with SoilActive™ technology provides an extended control solution for winter annual weeds. Spring wheat, durum wheat, oats and barley may be planted the following spring. DO NOT plant canola, peas, mustard, alfalfa, chickpeas or lentils the spring following an August 15th or later application of PrePass.
Fewer headaches, less stress.
With a fall application of PrePass, you shouldn’t need to spray broadleaf weeds until after seeding next spring. Depending on the application timing (i.e. early fall versus late October), there will be some observable soil activity next spring. This activity is typically on early emerging weeds such as stinkweed and other winter annuals. At seeding time a visible difference will be observed between treated and untreated areas.
Take advantage of fall timing without the restrictions.
Variations in moisture and weather conditions in the fall make post harvest applications of glyphosate difficult and the results inconsistent. However, because of its SoilActive technology and powerful active ingredients, PrePass is less subject to weather conditions. If winter annuals and dandelion are the problem, fall applied PrePass is the solution. As long as there is still green growth, you can apply PrePass from about mid-September to freeze-up. Fall PrePass has two distinct advantages: First, it will reduce your spring pre-seed burn workload making seeding time easier to manage. Second, spring weather conditions may not allow a pre-seed burndown application which means you lose valuable nutrients and potential yield. When it’s done in the fall, you don’t need to worry about about spraying conditions in the spring.
Nothing hits harder or lasts longer—here’s why.
SoilActive technology provides longer lasting weed control. The superior combination of active ingredients in PrePass ensures reliable, full-spectrum, fast-acting performance in pre-seed burndown, chemfallow and post harvest. Better translocation and revolutionary SoilActive technology means the best broadleaf weed control – even on multiple flushes of broadleaf weeds.
